CLI

framecap version --json, framecap schema --json, and framecap doctor --json are local read-only commands. Automation uses framecap OPERATION [ACTION] --json OBJECT or --file FILE. Output is one JSON object; exit 0 means ok: true, exit 1 means an operation/diagnostic failure, and argparse uses exit 2 for malformed command syntax.

There are 11 operations: permissions status, displays list, windows list, capture region, scroll start, scroll sample, scroll finish, scroll cancel, edit apply, pin, and pin close. Run framecap schema --json for the canonical parameters.

Input and output paths must be absolute. Output is not overwritten by default. A timeout may leave work executing, so inspect the output/session before retrying. CLI capture, scrolling, and pin commands require a running website-build App; offline edit calls the bundled native editor directly.
